Expectations: One would be surely having a mix kind of expectations from the music provided in ‘Blood Money’. Not like a typical Bhatt movie, a massive build-up has not been created around the music of this movie. Not only this, as well the movie had not been inclined as a jumbo issue, something that over and over is taking place with a shout in an Emraan Hashmi starrer movie. On the backside one just cannot overlook a number of unforgettable songs that was composed for Kunal Khemu's Kalyug, which is for a second time a Bhatt movie. Furthermore apart from a few of his films, for example like Showbiz, The Killer, and so on, Bhatt’s have by no means gone wide of the mark when it comes to the music of their film. Moreover with Jeet Gannguli making a revisit as a composer, Sangeet-Siddharth Haldipur and Pranay participating with a song each, and Sayeed Quadri as the lyricist for majority of songs, the platform is set for Blood Money to satisfyingly and enjoyably surprise.

Chaahat…

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is the man signed in to carry out the task for the very first song in the album as 'Chaahat'. With fine piece of music as a support to it, the track has a range of shades to it, and despite the fact that it begins slow, it carries off on a hard-hitting soaring notes, since Sayeed Quadri's lyrics goes round further into a passionate mood. By the time 'antara' sets in motion, the listeners would be quite familiar with the fact that this one fully belongs to the Bhatt terrain. On the other hand, it’s an enjoyable sounding track and for the one who believes in love. Although one has to confess that this song does not moderately have a complete joyful feel to it, since somewhere at the back of it, the listeners can feel a touch of the sadness too.

Gunaah…

After hearing this song, one would feel that it has a tap of intensity to it and the central character might be having a fear inside her of hurting the one who is near to him. Now this song may perhaps have been a situational based number, which can be said an undoubtedly travelled into a region where it would have been referred to being named as yet one more 'dard-e-judaai' outing. On the other hand, 'Gunaah' makes sure that the speed and rhythm is sustained in good form. For this, all the praise goes to Mustafa Zahid, for the passion with which he croons this fusion number.

Gunaah… (Unplugged version)

Conversely, there is an overall dissimilar temper that is set once Rana Mazumder enters with his own 'unplugged version'. Delivered with relatively at a snail's pace and in an earnest way that pretty much fetches to forefront the sadness of the character, this edition of 'Gunaah' manages to make its own uniqueness and assures to materialize in the movie at a critical point in time. Moreover, if one hears this unplugged version in a repeat mode, it is quite hard to overlook the Kishore Kumar feel, particularly in the style of singing, which Jeet manages to show up from his singers.

Teri Yaadon Se…

The soundtrack simply continues to give better and better songs with every passing, seeing that the guest composer makes his entry with a beautiful song 'Teri Yaadon Se'. It’s a brilliantly composed track which actually takes merely one listening to make the listeners fall in love with it. This feeling pops out in the heart of listeners as it has the type of lyrics in it which one expects from Sayeed Quadri, who should get his due credit, something that has been overlooked for a way too long at the moment in the industry.

Teri Yaadon Se… (Remix version)

Furthermore Mustafa Zahid as well makes the finest use of the stage, which is offered to him here, and the result of that is visible once he travels all out for the 'remix version'. This speedy paced edition will locate its road to the pubs and the discos. The remix version song as well explains the piece of information here that Pranay, in spite of being offered a skylight for simply one song, successfully creates his charisma felt in a big way.

Jo Tere Sang…

It is back to Jeet-Quadri duo with 'Jo Tere Sang' and by the time one may have merely heard the 'mukhda', the outcome is apparent – Bhatt’s are having a victor in the music of 'Blood Money'. ‘Jo Tere Sang’ is a number in relation to recalling the finest times which are gone by, and craving to get back all that which has been lost. This song is third in a line for Mustafa Zahid who provides a first-rate explanation of himself. Furthermore, do not miss Jeet's engagements linking the 'mukhda' and the 'antara', which are actually gives you a feeling of retro to the heart. In addition Quadri's lyrics promise that it would be pretty much fairy-tale narrating here, once the song would be playing in the movie's storyline part.

Arzoo…

Guest lyricist Kumaar and composers Sangeet-Siddharth Haldipur appear as one for their first blatant joyful song in Blood Money as 'Arzoo'. Expecting that the song would come at the very beginning of the movie, it establishes the love between the hero and heroine before 'money' directs to 'blood'.  'Arzoo' as well explains as an unlike side of the singer Clinton Cerejo. One would for sure think that this song may perhaps would have fallen into the lap of some renowned singers like Shaan or Kay Kay, but considering the fact that Bhatt‘s are quite famous for their experiments over and over in movies, their verdict to sign in Clinton has paid off quite well here, with the singer making it sure that it is yet one more an entertaining song in the album.

Overall

‘Blood Money’ shows off the songs that arrays from being fine to super. When most other moviemakers are playing with the method of two love songs, one Punjabi number, an item track and one a theme part of the pack, Bhatt’s have once again proved to their fans that they would carry one with their very own typical recipe, which apparently not many are succeeded in cracking this formula or the secret of this recipe over the years. The ones who assist their foundation are Jeet Ganguuli, Sayeed Quadri, Pranay, Sangeet-Siddharth and Kumaar, who as one have made it sure that as a team they had successfully conveyed what people would be expecting out from this movie and from them. Although music of Blood Money won't actually fade away from the shelves very soon, as it has in it to make its way into the compilation of those who like their music to be an ageless.
